How does the photo shoot work?
Preparation

• THE ASSIGNMENT (BRIEF)
   

  3 weeks before the photo shoot

  We will meet with you so that you can tell us what you want. We want to know as much as possible about your corporate strategy and about the products that you want to shoot. We are interested in every detail. Based on this conversation, we will create a design that will perfectly present your store and products and earn you money.

• DEVELOPING A CONCEPT
   

  3 weeks before the photo shoot

  Our creative directors will meet and brainstorm the best way for you to reach your target audience. We converse and argue amongst ourselves, which results in a photo shoot plan customised just for you. Our goal is to shoot pictures to which your target audience will relate. Do you like our design? Then let's go!

• PHOTO SHOOT SCRIPT AND CALCULATION

  3 weeks before the photo shoot

  We will incorporate any comments or wishes you may have into the final photo production script. This then forms the basis of our budget calculation. We will submit both to you before the photo shoot for approval. And then the preparations can begin in full swing.

• MODEL SCOUTING

  1-2 weeks before the photo shoot

  We will contact modelling agencies, organise photo or video castings, and select suitable models. We need models that fit the chosen concept and, at the same time, that are good actors.

• PREPARING THE STYLING

  1-2 weeks before the photo shoot

  The stylist is off to the stores and borrows suitable clothing, footwear, and accessories for everyone. The decorative stylist searches for suitable props, from tools to floral decorations. Everything must work well together and correspond with the chosen concept.

• SEARCHING FOR A LOCATION

  1-2 weeks before the photo shoot

  The location scout embarks into the terrain to find the best place for your photo shoot. Do you want a garden full of neat rows of potatoes? Or a beautiful balcony full of petunias? Your selection of annuals will sell itself! We will find it and arrange for permission to shoot.

D Day: the photo shoot

• MAKE-UP, HAIRSTYLING, STYLING, FOOD STYLING

  Several people pretty up the models. They apply makeup, style hair, and clothing. The food stylist takes care of the fruits and vegetables. We will take advantage of a wide variety of tricks so that everything looks exquisitely fresh, even after several hours of shooting.

• PRODUCTION
  
  

  The production staff have their hands full. They have to make sure that everyone and everything is always in place so that they can keep to the script, schedule, and budget. And so that everyone feels great about the photo shoot, they will arrange for catering, anything you may need in the trailer, and anything else.

• THE PHOTOGRAPHER
  
  

  The photographer and assistant set up the lighting and look for the best composition. They keep to the script, but thanks to their creativity and experience, often countless more interesting variations emerge than were originally listed in the photo shoot plan.

After the photo shoot

• CHOOSING PHOTOS
   

  The day after the photo shoot

  We often select from several thousand photographs, and the best ones are then handed over to the retoucher for editing. We know from experience that choosing the right photograph is often just as complex as taking the picture itself.

• POST-PRODUCTION AND RETOUCHING

  2-5 days after the photo shoot

  Our retouchers can do just about anything – they can add freshness to your products, and eliminate a person's wrinkles. Objects photographed in the studio can be placed into any environment, perhaps even the beach.

• DELIVERING THE IMAGES
   

  One week after the photo shoot

  We send you a preview of the retouched photographs. As soon as you approve their final appearance, we will send them to you in full resolution. You can choose your method of delivery: over an ftp server, or on a DVD.
